So do I get to stop the clock when I want? When someone says the first 100 hours, shouldn't it mean 100 hours. I thought the 100 hour agenda was more about you come in at 8:00 and go home at 5:00, that is 8 hours including a 1 hour lunch. but I guess I should have clocked out when I went to the bathroom..... That wasn't on my agenda so it doesn't count.

So the inhabitants of Samoa do not deserve a minimum wage, but the inhabitants Northern Mariana Islands, for the first time are covered by the federal minimum wage.  I do not necessarily agree with the minimum wage but I think if we are going to apply it to US territories, we should apply it evenly.

So now having children is also a requirement for high office in the US. Whatever happened to our politicians being statesmen or statesperson, They should be above such low class behavior.

Democrats in Senate Fail to Block Bill on Ethics - New York Times

How is this for being weasels? The house passes a strong measure dealing with earmarks and the senate democrats want to kill it. I guess reform is in the eye of the beholder.
